Denver - The founder of the Prostate Cancer Education Council (PCEC), Dr. E. David Crawford, professor of surgery and radiation oncology and head of urologic oncology at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center, has been formally recognized for his impact on health care in the Denver community. Most notably, Crawford is credited for his efforts that have contributed to swaying prostate cancer statistics from diagnosis at an advanced disease to an early stage disease when it is curable.
